International Isotope Society Board of Representatives Charter

The Board of Representatives (BoR) of the International Isotope Society (IIS) is a group of IIS members either elected or chosen by the various chapters or divisions. In addition, some representatives are automatically assigned by default to the BoR by running for office at the international level in the IIS, but not being elected during the election process. The primary goal of the BoR is to provide a voice for all members of the IIS to be heard by the Board of Trustees (BoT) of the IIS.

The objectives of the BoR include:

1. Effectively communicate the needs of the IIS membership to the BoT and vice versa by acting as the “Eyes” and “Ears” of the IIS.

2. Complete long range planning for the IIS.

3. Complete short- and long-term assignments as requested by the BoT.

4. Select up to five individuals to serve on the IIS Council.
